Plans change. We get it. Our desert safari Abu Dhabi cancellation policy is designed to be fair and simple, so you can book with confidence. Here's everything you need to know about cancelling, changing your date and getting a refund.
Free Cancellation
- Cancel 24 hours or more before pickup: 100% refund.
- Cancel less than 24 hours before pickup: 50% refund.
- No-show or cancellation at pickup: no refund.
For VIP, private, overnight, Liwa and custom bookings (such as proposals and corporate events), different terms may apply:
- Cancel 72 hours or more before the tour: 100% refund.
- Cancel 24–72 hours before: 50% refund.
- Cancel less than 24 hours before: no refund.
Changing Your Date
- Date changes are free if requested at least 24 hours before pickup, subject to availability.
- Changes requested less than 24 hours before pickup are treated as cancellations under the rules above, although we'll always try to help.
Cancellations by Us
Your safety comes first. If we need to cancel a tour because of a sandstorm, heavy rain, extreme weather, government instructions or any other safety reason, you can choose:
- A new date at no extra cost, or
- A full refund
No-Shows
If you're not at the pickup point within 15 minutes of the confirmed time and we can't reach you by phone or WhatsApp, the booking will be treated as a no-show and is non-refundable. Please make sure we have a working contact number.
Medical Emergencies
If you can't attend because of a medical emergency, contact us as soon as possible. We'll review each case individually and may offer a date change or partial refund.
Unused Services
No refunds are given for parts of a tour you choose not to take part in on the day, such as dune bashing, the camel ride or dinner.
How to Cancel or Change a Booking
Send a WhatsApp message to +971 50 930 0406 or email booking@desertsafaridunes.com with your name, booking date and booking reference. We'll confirm your cancellation or change in writing.
How Refunds Are Paid
- Refunds are paid using the original payment method.
- Card refunds usually take 5–14 working days to appear, depending on your bank.
- Cash payments are refunded in the way agreed with our team.
- Bookings made through third-party websites or travel agents must be cancelled with that provider, under their policy.
